Welcome to my site! I’m Alex, and it’s a pleasure to have you here. You might be asking yourself, “Hey, doesn’t this website look kinda like it was made over a decade ago?” Yes, yes it does! I wanted to make something that reminded me of the days before the cloud took over and ended the era of the self-hosted blog.

Libre de Nube (Spanish: ˈliːbɹə ðe ˈnuβ̞e, Spanish: “free of cloud”) is the umbrella term for all of the projects I want to document, although this project was started by my desire to take back my tech from the almighty cloud. This site (which will likely go with long periods of inactivity followed by furious writing) is going to be my home base for all the projects I care enough about to write down. I hope you think some of what you find here is cool!
